For Sale

This page lists a number of things I currently have for sale, mostly because I'm continually trying to reduce and make room in my life for more important things. A mix of camera equipment, stationery, antiques, etc. It's all over the place.

Please note:

  • All items located in Saitama City, Japan.

  • Unless otherwise noted, prices do not include shipping.

  • As most of my buyers tend to be in the USA, prices are provided in US Dollars.

  • Within Japan, the easiest shipping option is to send chakubarai (you pay for shipping costs upon receipt).

  • Outside of Japan, depending on the size of the item, either air mail or express mail (EMS) may be an option. I can provide shipping estimates upon request.

  • Within Japan, payment by bank transfer (furikomi) is preferred. For buyers outside Japan, PayPal works best for me.

  • I do my best to describe everything as accurately as I can to make sure there aren't any surprises.

  • Unless otherwise arranged, everything is sold as-is. All sales are final.

  • I am open to reasonable offers.

  • Prices and details subject to change without notice, not responsible for errors or omissions. Page last updated 2026-10-22

Photo Equipment

Hasselblad 16mm Extension Tube

16mm extension tube for Hasselblad V-series (6x6) cameras. Very few marks, great shape overall.

USD $100/JPY ¥16,000

Fotodiox Pentax 67 to Mamiya M645 Lens Mount Adapter

Allows the use of Pentax 67 lenses on Mamiya M645 cameras. Fully manual use of the lens, as there is no mechanical linkage between the camera body and the lens's aperture mechanism. Currently retails for about USD $100 new.

USD $50/JPY ¥7,900

Fotodiox Hasselblad to Mamiya M645 Lens Mount Adapter

Allows the use of Hasselblad V-system (6x6) lenses on Mamiya M645 cameras. Fully manual use of the lens, as there is no mechanical linkage between the camera body and the lens's aperture mechanism. Not currently in production, but I think I bought it for about USD $100 new.

USD $50/JPY ¥7,900

Stationery and Office

Sailor Pro Gear Fountain Pen 21K (H-F nib)

Lightly used, very good condition overall. Only some very light scratches on the barrel, most of which I think should polish out (I'll give it a go before shipping). The H-F nib is a beautiful two-tone design, one of the most beautiful nibs out there IMO.

USD $175/JPY ¥27,500

Platinum 3776 Gathered Fountain Pen (M nib)

A lovely, distinctive fountain pen that you don't see around too much. I quite like it, but I just don't use it anymore, so it's time to send it on to a new home.

In the one photo, the nib looks a bit dull, but I promise it's not. I'll get a better photo of it and update the listing as soon as I can.

USD $150/JPY ¥23,700

Vintage Tombow 8900 HB Retouching Pencils (old-style logo, JIS mark, unique local imprint)

Vintage Tombow 8900 HB pencils, from when they were still sold as retouching pencils. The pencils bear the JIS mark, the dragonfly is going the opposite direction to current Mitsubishi pencils, and these also bear a foil imprint reading, 浦和ヨークショッピングスクェア創業記念, which refers to the founding anniversary of the York Shopping Square in Urawa, Saitama City, Japan. This is a shopping building that opened in 1972. Based on this and the fact that they're still marked as retouching pencils leads me to believe that these are from no later than the late 1970s.

Boxes are sealed from when I got them, and the boxes I opened for personal use were all unsharpened, as you'd expect. Typical shelf wear on the boxes.

11 boxes available.

Per Box: USD $15/JPY ¥2,370

Okinawa Expo '75 Mitsubishi 2470 Pencils

Souvenir pencils from Expo 75 in Okinawa. These are HB Mitsubishi 2470 pencils, featuring what I believe to be an original character for the event. Both the pencils and the box bear the JIS mark.

2 boxes available.

Per Box: USD $30/JPY ¥4,500

Zero Halliburton Briefcase

Cool case, always intended to turn it into a portfolio case but I've decided to go another direction with that. Some marks, condition should be apparent from the photos. Combination will be set to 0-0-0 upon delivery, easily changed to whatever you want. Domestic Japan shipping or pickup only.

JPY ¥5,000

Vintage, Antiques, Curiosities, Etc

Antique Optometrist Ophthalmic Testing Kit

A very interesting old set for testing vision for eyeglass prescription. Appears complete. Many lenses, two sets of frames, plus colored glasses, a wooden ruler, and other bits and pieces I frankly have no idea about. I am unable to find any indication of who the manufacturer was or where it was made.

I am willing to ship this outside of Japan, but be aware the cost may be high (get in touch with your location and I can try to figure out an estimate).

USD $300/JPY ¥47,400

Casio Mini electronic calculator

Introduced in 1972, this was the first affordable pocket-sized digital calculator. This one turns on and the 6-digit green vacuum fluorescent display works. When I tested it, sometimes the operation was slightly erratic, but this is really more of a collectible than something for everyday use (though I won't stop you). Overall good condition.

Takes 4x AA batteries (not included).

USD $40/JPY ¥6,300

Sesame Street Monster Cookies Tin

A very cute (empty) tin of Sesame Street Monster Cookies, featuring various characters. Nice nostalgic vibes to it. As best I can tell, it's about 30 years old.

USD $10/JPY ¥1,600
